Of course we were interested and instantly our staff began planning out the segment topics. We're all very excited to be part of the television studio atmosphere, even if only for one day!!!

Ottawa seems to be in the midst of a baby boom so far this year! We have been seeing countless babies, newborns and moms-to-be coming through our studio and we are loving every minute of it!

We had a fantastic on-location Engagement Session at Petrie Island with the lovely Jessica & Brooks last fall. They recently ordered a wall art series in our fabulous standout option and chose unconventional poses for the series.

We love that the couple wanted to preserve and display the tender moments and the following burst of laughter! It shows their true personalities, which is what decorating our walls and homes is all about, right?!

Hot 89.9's Rush came in to get his photo taken for the new promo campaign featuring popular artists and the names of The Morning Hot Tub hosts. We've seen these ads decorating bus stops and giant billboards all over the city, catching our attention on the commute to work every single day!

It's SO amazing to see our work out there as big and bold as it can get!

Thank you everyone for attending the 3rd annual Halloween fundraiser for CHEO. We are proud to have raised over $3000 during these past 3 events. We are currently working on the pictures of your little prince's and princess's. They are available for a FREE download off our gallery.

As most of you may know CHEO holds a special place in our family. Below is a picture of our healthy and rambunctious baby Parker. Without the vast knowledge and quick reactions of the staff at the hospital he most certainly would not be with us today.

....a 180-year-old log building called Grange de la Gatineau.  Laura and Shawn tied the knot on a beautiful spring day at one of the most intimate locations imaginable.  I was fortunate to be a part of it! Check out her awesome 50's style wedding dress, not a typical white princess gown, but that doesn't mean that Laura didn't feel like a princess on this special day!

So you may have heard or seen the photo by now, circulating around the world wide web, it's the one of our very own Josie in the City, from the New Hot 899, posing in her "meat-kini" the way that one would see Lady Gaga doing on the cover of Japan Vogue.

So as the story goes, Josie had a baby (see blog details here), became her tiny-self again, and decided to compete with the infamous Lady Gaga, to see who would look "Hotter" in meat.  I vote Josie!!

We have been working hard to get everything ready for our new portrait studio located in the Glebe, and the time has finally come!  Tripp Photography is now located in a spacious studio at 901 Bank Street above the ever growing and popular Running Room.

Cristie Vito, from Stellar Events says, "Got a sneak peak at Tripp Photography's new studio in the Glebe yesterday and it is unbelievable! Unlike any other studio I have seen in Ottawa with separate rooms setup for different types of photo sessions and a huge event space. Congrats again Christine Tripp, your new studio is beautiful!!!"

Ottawa Engagement Photography

Today I was fortunate to head to downtown Ottawa for an engagement session with Kristen & Jason.  Funny thing was that Kristen went to the same high school as me, in Timmins!  However since she's a few years younger, we'd actually never until she qualified for the New Hot 899's Married in 23hrs Contest.  Unfortunately they didn't win the contest, but at least they were able to go out for this awesome engagement shoot with me!!  It was a lot of fun.
